Asthma Awareness Month

During Asthma Awareness Month, our Global Learners investigated asthma triggers, explored ways to promote healthy lungs and clean air, and inspired others to take action for healthier communities.

Connected Through Care: Learn, Act, Give Back

The Ribbon Cutting Event, held in celebration of Earth Day, Pay It Forward Day, and the Art Show, brought together students, staff, and community members to celebrate global awareness, creativity, and a connected school community. Fifth-grade students shared meaningful projects that encouraged thinking globally while acting locally, and classes contributed to a time capsule filled with hopes for the future. The event highlighted collaboration and shared joy, including a choral performance of “We Are the World,” and meaningful engagement with community and district partners.

International Mother Language Day

Our school proudly celebrated International Mother Language Day with a month of activities designed to help students appreciate languages and cultures from around the world.

Germs, Germs, Everywhere!

Our Germs, Germs, Everywhere Handwashing Extension Project gave our student Global Leaders a hands-on opportunity to explore the importance of proper handwashing while practicing Participate Learning’s Global Competencies of Communication and 
Understanding Global Issues.
