Meet Carson Condon:

Orange High School Class of 2026, Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary School Class of 2019

Carson Condon is a senior at Orange High School where he just finished his senior season on the soccer team. He currently plans to attend Alamance Community College for his associate's degree and then transfer to a four year university. Carson returned to Efland-Cheeks Global on Wednesday December 17 where he met with his former teachers and participated in WIN time with 4th grade students.

We asked Carson some questions about his time at Efland-Cheeks Global and here are his responses:

Was there a teacher or staff member who really inspired you or believed in you?

  • Aside from Ms. Hines and Mr. Dieso, Mr Porter. really inspired me and worked with me to become a better person, and a lot of the things he said/taught me are things I still use today.

Which field trip or special event still sticks in your mind?

  • The field trip to the Outer Banks in 4th grade.

Was there a subject you loved back then that shaped what you enjoy now?

  • If I had to pick one I think I would say social studies, because of that I took all sorts of classes in high school like APHUG, APUSH.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice for elementary school, what would it be?

  • I would tell myself to change my haircut, like 100%. Maybe I would tell me to not give my teachers such a hard time….maybe.
