Meet Caroline Hall

Cedar Ridge Class of 2026, Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary School Class of 2019

Caroline Hall is a senior at Cedar Ridge High School in the class of 2026. She is a member of the tennis team, the track and field team, and the cheerleading team. She is also a member of the Key Club, A Cappella Club, HOSA, and the National Honor Society. On Wednesday February 11, she returned to Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary School where she met with some of her previous teachers and read to a kindergarten classroom where she once sat. After high school, she plans to attend a 4 year college where she will major in Pre-Med with the intention of becoming a pediatrician.

We asked Caroline some questions about her time at Efland-Cheeks Global and here are her responses:

Was there a teacher or staff member who really inspired you or believed in you?

  • My AIG teacher, Ms. Lowman, always inspired me to do my best and made school so fun! She taught me how to truly embrace learning and helped me to find what I’m most interested in.

Which field trip or special event still sticks in your mind?

  • I was able to be a part of the North Carolina Elementary Honors Chorus in fourth and fifth grade, which was such a meaningful experience. The opportunity to come together with other students from around the state to make beautiful music is one I will never forget.

Was there a subject you loved back then that shaped what you enjoy now?

  • I loved math, especially in 4th grade with Mr. Dieso. He, and my other math teachers, shaped my love for math to this day.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice for elementary school, what would it be?

  • I would tell myself to enjoy my time at Efland Cheeks and not to wish away my time hoping to grow up fast.
