Meet Cameron Brown:

Orange High School Class of 2026, Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary School Class of 2019

Cameron Brown is a senior at Orange High School where he just finished his senior season on the baseball team. He currently plans to attend Southeastern Community College for baseball and study sports medicine. Cameron returned to Efland-Cheeks Global on Monday June 1 where he met with his former teachers.

We asked Cameron some questions about his time at Efland-Cheeks Global and here are his responses:

Was there a teacher or staff member who really inspired you or believed in you?

  • Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Petrizzi.

Which field trip or special event still sticks in your mind?

  • The field trip to the Outer Banks in 4th grade.

Was there a subject you loved back then that shaped what you enjoy now?

  • Science.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice for elementary school, what would it be?

  • Have fun and take in every moment!
